Slime Care Info

♡ IMPORTANT SLIME CARE INFO ♡
Always wash your hands before and after playing with slime.

DID YOUR SLIME ARRIVE...
stiff/frozen?  Let it sit in your house to warm up. If that doesn’t work, massage it in warm water (DON’T do this to cream cheese slime).
melted/sticky due to hot weather? Follow instructions right below.

STICKY SLIME?
Before anything, try washing your hands (and dry well)! Sometimes oily/sweaty/warm hands can make slime feel stickier. If that doesn’t help, mix 1 cup warm water with 1 tsp borax, then add a few teensy drops to your slime and mix in well.
Only add 1-2 small drops at a time!!  Please be cautious- adding too much can ruin your slime and make it very hard and non-stretchy.

FISHBOWL/SLUSHIE SLIME TIPS
This slime has to stay a bit sticky so that the beads don’t fall out, so be careful when adding in borax. This slime will get cloudy the more you play with it.  Letting it  sit for a few days will help get rid of the cloudiness.

BUTTER/CREAM CHEESE SLIME TIPS
This slime is made from 90% air-dry clay. It is ESSENTIAL to keep in its container when not in use or it will dry out. There is no way to revive dried out slime, so close the container well. If it arrived stiff, let it sit for a while, or knead it in your hands so your body temperature softens it. If it becomes stiff over time, simply add a little squirt of any lotion and massage in. Darker colored slime can leave a bit of residue on your hands/surface. Pressing the slime onto the area makes the bits stick back onto the slime.

SOFT SERVE/FLUFFY SLIME TIPS
Has your slime  deflated/shrunk? Mix in a teensy bit of shaving cream!

MISCELLANEOUS
Slime may shrink/evaporate/melt/change colour if left in a very hot & sunny environment. Keep slime out of direct sunlight to avoid all of the above, and to extend its longevity.
DO NOT LET SLIME COME INTO CONTACT WITH CLOTHING/FABRIC FURNITURE/ANYTHING THAT ISN’T EASILY WASHABLE. I HIGHLY ADVISE THAT YOU KEEP SLIME OUT OF REACH OF VERY YOUNG CHILDREN.

DO NOT EAT SLIME OR BORAX.

SLIME FAQ

My slime is too hard and rips!
You added too much activator. Try massaging it in a tub of warm water, or add some lotion. For clear slime, add baby oil gel instead of lotion.
How do I make borax activator?
Mix 1 tsp borax in 1 cup warm water.
My slime is sticky!
Add a bit more activator, or store your slime in the fridge.
My fluffy slime has deflated!
Add more shaving cream.
My slime is liquidy/watery/flat!
Add some shaving cream, it'll fluff it up a bit.

Add shaving cream or foam soap/foaming facial cleanser.
How do I make jiggly slime?
Add lots of water to your glue.
Where do you get the beads for fishbowl and slushie slime?
